Welcome To Profound Perspective

Welcome to my blog, this was started at the suggestion of many of my friends after seeing my many poems and thoughts, and the encouragement of another blogger. For my first post I will tell a bit about myself, if you’re going to read a person’s thoughts and ideas you should at least know a little bit about that person. Let me begin with my basic “about me” that I use in all social networking sites:

I am an open-minded, friendly, and focused man, who keeps life simple. I get what I need to get done, done in order to succeed. I have my priorities in order, (God, Family, School & Sports, Friends, and then everything else) and I know what’s important. I just enjoy the simple joys of life like: Family, Friends, Movies, Music, Videogames, and all Technology, and I’m not one to get caught up in any drama or trouble. Most people tell me that I am a very polite or proper person, or that I’m the funniest person they know, and I’ve been called a "Sweetheart" by many females that know me. I am the type that will hold the door and let the women pass by first, or pull out a chair for a lady, because someone has 2 treat a woman right! I am going to Hampton University to get my degree, & make something of myself to provide for my current & future family.

I have my own style and way of doing and saying things, I don’t try or want to be like everyone else, I’ll be different in my own way. I could care less about what everyone else thinks because I’m going to be me regardless. Anybody can come and talk to me about anything, I’ve always been that way, and it looks like it will never change!!! What makes me special is that I am genuine amongst a generation of lost. I strive to be the best at what I do, and to be a good person, and a blessing to others. Overall I am extremely light hearted, & playful, I’m a real laid back person, especially around my friends, I don’t fake, front, or try to be something I’m not. I’m just me.

Other than that the best way to get to know me is to view my poems, blogs and writings to see how I think. As I write this I encourage responses, comments, and all form of feedback whether you agree or not, in fact I encourage the debate because that’s the best way to learn.

Here is to the start of a new blog, Profound Perspective is my perspective (which I believe is profound, lol) on life that I have gotten out of my young experiences. From growing up poor, to overcoming stereotypes, striving for excellence, witnessing my family and friends go through their issues, being a college student and former collegiate athlete, and taking all the negativity of life and searching for the lessons involved. I will begin by posting my past thoughts so please feel free to take a look at my Profound Perspective.
