The plight of a Christian is to seek and follow god to the best of their knowledge.
As a Christian you are to seek god’s word, accept it as the absolute truth, and do
your best to serve and spread the gospel. One become a Christian by accepting
Jesus Christ as living a perfect sinless life, being the son of god, born of virgin
birth, and god in the flesh that died on the cross for your sins and rose from the
dead.
A Christian life is far from easy; by nature we are to endure trials, tribulations,
and persecution. It is false to think that things will be perfect for you if you begin
living a godly life, whether you have been doing it all your life or not. Your rewards
will come but we all have things to endure, they are TESTS of our faith, therefore
a Christian should not lose faith when hardships come their way. Struggles, loss of
loved ones, hardships of any kind are part of your test, it is up to god to decide
how he does it, and it will most likely not make sense to us for we cannot
understand how god thinks. Your hardships might seem unfair and undeserved 2
you but u never knows how they serve god’s purpose, or how they impact others
lives.
And finally the thought of how there are so many fake people in the church, there
are some fakers just like with anything else, however the church is for the sinners!
Everybody in the universe is a sinner for none are perfect, us Christians have
admitted that we have done wrong and are sinners and ask for our sins to be paid
for by the blood of Christ. Everybody slips up, and people make mistakes and
succumb to pressure and temptation, for once again nobody is perfect. Man’s
heart is inherently evil but we are redeemed, a Christians sins are paid for past,
present, and future. This doesn’t mean your should do what you want cause it
doesn’t matter, but for one who loves god and what e did for him would give their
best effort to try to follow his ways. I myself have sin left in my life, and I might
not drink or smoke I will be seen freaking at a party again, it might not be
something I do often, but it like other things I do which are unchristian-like will
probably occur, this doesn’t make me fake, it makes me human, and weak if
anything. Ultimately god will judge on how well you tried to follow him, but the
ultimate main point is Christ’s offer of salvation. You can take it from there and
seek the rest 4 yourself.
